What's that you say about Y2K
A dreaded bug is on the way
Should I hide or should I pray
will we all get sick on that dreaded day

I wanted to go out and have a blast
look to the future and forget the past
Learn by the old and get ready for the new
now I am confused and don't know what to do

What if I go out and start feeling sick
get a temperature and this bug gives me a kick
And everyone around me starts feeling the same
Will Y2K be the blame

Or will it be we just partied too hardy
should I warn all my friends..Josh, Kelly and Marty
I think I will call them and tell what I heard
about this Y2K and the bug it has incurred

Maybe I will stay home and hide under the sheet
and when midnight strikes, out from under will peek
Then if all seems right, out I will venture
feel for my pulse and take my temperature

Then my computer I will turn on with a click
say a prayer and hope there is no glitch
Get online and see if alls right
cross my fingers and squeeze real tight

And if my money is still in the bank
breath a sigh of relief and a silent thanks
I then will send a Happy New Year to all my friends
Give them all my love and hope this new millennium mends

All of the trouble the hurt and the pain
of the past thousand years and know we cannot gain
PEACE on EARTH and GOOD WILL TOWARDS MEN
If we continue without God and continue to sin

So my wish for the world as the new year rings true
is to learn from the past and make good on the new

well here it is a brand new day
a whole new year and a y2k
i guess the bug got stopped in his tracks
so no more worrying and no more wise cracks

i can put all my money back in the bank
get down on my knees and give a thank
take all that SPAM back to the store
and tell them I don't need it no more

i see my computer is working real fine
i had no problems getting online
lets just hope all this continues to be
so I can send new years huggles from me

and my wish is for all of you is
to have a great year and a millennium too
to be healthy and happy and have all the best
strive for Peace on Earth and all the rest

and if we all continue to work real hard
to all live together and take down our guard
then we can all be as one family
without Hate and Predigest and living FREE
