A child is like the winter
as pure as the driven snow
So soft and sweet and gentle
and is taught which way to grow
Like land of white so fresh and clean
an innocent so full of love
A caring soul an untouched wonder
like the snow sent from above
Enjoy this time this wonderland
this pristine simple life
Catch the moment, hold it in your heart
away from the turmoile and strife
Walk life's path with this little one
and show him the right way to go
He is the innocent so full of love
you must teach him the way to grow
