A Letter From Ronda

As I sit up here in Heaven
and watch down from the sky
Time seems to pass by quickly
dashing right before my eyes

My sons they were so young then
and needed me, their mommy so
But my family, you were wonderful
and helped Eric and Travis to grow

Back then in 1993, I remember well,
Richard was there to comfort mom
when Aunt Judith, you came to tell

He had always been a comforter
always there when we needed a lift
A shining example of honest love,
to Richard, from God this was a gift

Mom and Dad I miss you so,
and I miss my little boys
I have watched them day by day
grow into young men, a family's joy

Chris and John, I have watched you
over these many trying years
I have stood by you lovingly
and have wiped your many tears

And although I miss my family
each and everyone to me are dear
I want to tell you I am happy
so please smile and have no fear

I am here up on the Heavenly Shore
and dear Richard is with me now
And as always, he was comforting,
and placed a kiss upon my brow

He said it was from my little boys
and that they miss their mommy still
The tears flowed down from my eyes
as I miss my babies and always will

The little things like my children's smiles
and watching them play out in the yard
Or moms flower packets on Christmas day
these fond memories are sometimes hard

But don't cry for me, don't weep or fret
my dear family, your love I will never forget
And when you think of me, do it and smile
for we are only apart for just a little while

This page was written in remembrance of Ronda Rogers, a beautiful woman, daughter,
sister and mother. She was taken much too soon from her loving family and friends. Ronda
loved life and her children Eric and Travis were the center of it. Camping, gardening and just
being outdoors were a big part of her life and activities. She is loved and missed by all who knew her.
Ronda was only 33 years old when her life was taken by a car accident on March 6, 1993. I dedicate
this page to Ronda Rogers' family...with love, Island Princess
