Mama, thank you for scolding me when I needed you.
Mama, thank you for listening to me when I needed you.
Mama, thank you for crying with me when I needed you.
Mama, thank you for laughing with me when I needed you.
Mama, thank you for those silent moments when I needed you.
Mama, thank you for a wonderful role model to look up to.
Mama, thank you for that sparkle in the eyes I look in to.
Mama, thank you for a soft and gentle voice I listen to.
Mama, thank you for teaching me kindness for all people.
Mama, thank you for showing me love and respect for all of Gods
creatures.
Mama, thank you for all those hugs you just knew I needed.
Mama, thank you for giving me life to live and loving me enough
to see me evolve into the best woman I know how to be.
Mama, thank you for not giving up on life when daddy died and for
raising us in the God loving way you know he would want us to go.
Mama, I could not be here where I am today if you had not loved
me
enough to know you had to continue to live when your heart and
soul passed
away and you felt like you wanted to die also.
Mama, I can never give you enough to repay you for all you have
given me.
Just know I love and respect you more than anyone in this world
and I know
Daddy is smiling down on his "sweetheart" each and
everyday.
