Baby girl so precious
gone for many years
Out of mommy's loving arms
but in my heart so near

If flowers grew for every tear
I cried since you've been gone
A rainbow of colors would be spread
to make a most beautiful lawn

Each night when I lay me down
to sleep and hopefully rest
I say "good night my baby love"
and the hurt wells in my breast

Sometimes when I dream at night
I can see your sunny smile
Running, playing happily
and with me all the while

But when the morning sun
comes creeping in my room
The beautiful dreams I dreamt of you
are gone, and then the gloom

If I could only hold you
within my arms once more
And smell your wonderful baby scent
oh how my heart would soar

But all I have are memories
and some pictures faded grey
To keep me holding on to hope,
and seeing you again one day

I know you are in Heaven
and in Jesus' loving arms
Always safe and happy
and far away from harm

And now you have your daddy
in heaven to hold you close
You both are where I long to be,
with the ones I love the most

Please Jenny, know I love you

I thank the Lord in Heaven
for letting me hold you for awhile

Born not for Earth but Heaven
