A Thousand Kisses

A thousand kisses and a million more
I send to you as my body craves your touches
and needs your hot breath upon my soul even more.

Lying here alone within my needs your memory drifts into
my belly like a snake slithering it's way back into the tall grass
that once was his ancestral home.

The pounding of my heart drowns out the tick and the tock of
the clock up on the wall reminding me of lost times
faded memories and old passions that once were my life.

Living out my life in my own and poetic way
I send you all my rhyme time and hearts sublime
wishing you were lying here within me once again.

land upon your lips and remind you of someone long ago...
