As the ice you place along my spine
melts into nothingness
A million thoughts run through my mind
bringing me to this

You are, one hell of a man
you are an even better lover
In all your shades of black and tan
I slowly take off your cover

I see within my eyes
a prince in all his glory
A gentle man a loving heart
beginning to tell his story

I see some hurt once in your past
afraid to love again
But judge me not by her ways
or by her painful sin

For as this ice rolls down my spine
and melts back to its start
It makes a flame, a fire tonight
and warms my frozen heart

If I am willing to take a chance
and open myself to you
Then all I ask of you my prince
is to be faithful honest and true
