Everything to them is an adventure
each year is fresh and new
From helping decorate the Christmas tree
to hanging stockings for me and you

To see the twinkle in their eyes
as we adorn the tree with lights
And as we place the Angel on the top
in their faces they show such delight

They giggle and they dance around
as they help to trim the tree
And are not afraid to feel the magic
that most of us no longer see

As they go to sleep on Christmas Eve
with sugar plums in their heads
They're hoping Santa likes his treats
while they dream all snug in their beds

When they stumble down the stairs
early on Christmas morn
The ooh's and awe's are priceless
seeing the tree with gifts adorned

Christmas through the children's eyes,
make this part of your holiday plan
These times are very precious
