When the excitement of the season
finds us making special plans
Lets not forget the reason for
the holidays throughout each land

Whichever day you celebrate
one thing I'm sure is true
The reason is much more precious
then getting gifts from me to you

Each and every one of us
needs a purpose to our lives
We find that in our personal faiths
with our Creator as our guides

So let us take this time
to reflect within our souls
Grow closer with our Maker
show our love strong and bold

And as you hurry on your way
rushing here and there
Please don't forget to stop and say
a thank you and a prayer
