There were two little birdies up in the tree
one was a bluebird and the other a chickadee
They sat up in the tree top all the day long
talking to each other and singing their song

One was from up north and the other down south
but both found this tree, their home away house
They had so much in common, talked the day away
loved being together, soul sisters you could say

Their friendship, it never faltered,
in fact it grew stronger year by year
They shared in each others happiness
and they dried each others tears

If one was down, the other, she was up
and her shoulder was always there
Covering her sister with her wings
to show just how much she loved and cared

And they still continue this friendship
although many years have come and gone
Sometimes quietly sitting there together
and other times whistling a happy song

No words ever need to be spoken
not a sound, for each of them knows
That when you love and trust your sister
the true heart of a friendship grows

Wishing you another Happy Birthday sis. May all of your hopes, dreams and wishes come true. It's been a long time, us two little birdies together. Let's plan on many many years yet to come.
